As the product and technical adviser for Holbein Art Materials USA, Jon Young has had the opportunity to explore a broad spectrum of art and art materials. On any given day you will find him surrounded by stacks of the most beautiful colors in the world. He studied illustration at Massachusettes College of Art in Boston, where he fell in love with the bold graphic lines of the graffiti artists. The natural beauty of Vermont brought him home to study painting at Johnson State College. A wonderful marriage of these influences are evident in his work today. He enjoys working in ink, watercolor, oil, and acrylics. His paintings are bold in color, but serene in subject.
